Terms and Conditins for Mattress

01 - If purchasing a mattress separately. It should be placed on suitable base or frame that’s designed for such a mattress. (Old or second hand bases are not suitable and slatted bases are not usually suitable for use with pocket spring mattresses.)

02 - We reserve the right to decide whether to replace or repair any faulty item or (if neither is possible), make an agreed monetary allowance (in part of full instead. Any replacement of the mattress cannot ensure colour and fabric matching, although replacement will always be as near as possible or to a better specification to the original item.)

03 - Guarantee is not transferable and does not apply to goods which are sold as shop-soiled (Showroom models) or to goods used for non-domestic purposes, (i.e. contract or rental use of any kind), or if goods are taken out side Sri Lanka

04 - Guarantee may be invalidated if he customer has not followed or carried out proper and reasonable care procedures (as listed over on this leaflet) or if the mattress is in a soiled or unsanitary condition.

05 - Guarantee does not apply to instance of normal ageing (War and tear) or damage as a result of any kind of accident, abuse or deliberate misuse. The Normal settlement of the filled unpressed layers in a mattress flattening of use (called ‘dipping’ ) is quite usual and does not constitute a claim under this guarantee, similarly, noise of any kind (on its own) does not constitute a valid claim.

06 - Transportation cost (if necessary) will be charged at the same rate as charges on the original order.

07 - Any claim relating to this guarantee must be made within one month of becoming apparent and send in writing to (Head Office address) accompanied by suitable proof of purchase, payment and ownership (ideally the originally order form). Posturtop do not accept any liability for any consequential loss, damage or injury.
